Felicity: Platinum Queen and Equanimity at the Royal Society of Arts, London

13th June - 31st July 2022

In 2022, it was a great honour to exhibit two of my portraits of Her Majesty the Queen, Equanimity and Felicity, at the prestigious Royal Society of Arts in London. The portraits took pride of place in the RSA's foyer, at the entrance to the Benjamin Franklin Room, and were seen by members and passers-by alike for over six weeks.

Andy Haldane, formerly the Bank of England's Chief Economist, and the RSA’s CEO wrote: “Showing off these remarkable images, taken by an esteemed RSA Fellow using the cutting-edge technology he developed, is a perfect way for us to mark the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. Her Majesty the Queen is the RSA’s patron, and this is our way to celebrate and thank her for her support and service during her seventy years on the throne.”

Founded in 1754 as the Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufacturers, and Commerce, the RSA is the oldest society of the arts in the world. Notable past fellows include Charles Dickens, Benjamin Franklin, Karl Marx, Nelson Mandela, Stephen Hawking and Sir David Attenborough.
