World-famous jewellers Asprey of London celebrated the Diamond Jubilee by using Rob Munday and Chris Levine's now famous 2004 portrait of Her Majesty the Queen. Overseen by Chris Levine, the idea behind the work was to recreate the diadem crown that the Queen is seen wearing in the original portrait and to combine it with the original work.

The crown was made by laser-cutting and engraving a large sheet of platinum, decorating it with 1000 diamonds, and attaching 25 freshwater pearls via tiny platinum screws. As an impressive finishing touch, a natural fancy intense yellow round brilliant diamond will be set into an 18-carat yellow gold collet at the centre of the diadem.

The work was sold via sealed bids in June 2012 and proceeds were split between two of the Queen's charities - The Woodland Trust and QEST.
