In 1991, Rob Munday was invited to join the support committee, comprising many of the world's leading holographers, artists, scientists, and businessmen of the time, to advise on a new permanent exhibition of holography by the Art, Science, and Technology Institute at the TechworldPlaza in Washington D.C. Rob was invited to be an honored guest at the opening, and, alongside hologram artist Margeret Benyon, was interviewed live on the USA radio program 'Voice of America'. Rob was awarded an Art, Science, and Technology Institute award for his work in holographic portraiture and museum holography.
