My world too - 1, Rothschild's Moth (Rothschildia lebeau inca), 2018
This work was privately commissioned by Lionel de Rothschild of the Rothschild family whose relative, Lionel Walter Rothschild, 2nd Baron Rothschild (1868-1937), first discovered and named the species. It is now part of the Rothschild art collection.
Living Rothschild's moths were raised and recorded for the work which took two years to complete.
